House Bill No. 1122 is going to allow the Dallas Independent School District to implement a new program where select high school students will be able to graduate in just three years. The costs associated with their last year of schooling will be put towards a full day pre-kindergarten program in the Dallas area. This is an excellent way to fund a much needed pre-k program and to help high school students who might not have graduated get their degree faster. The costs associated do not appear to be significant.
